TR6 RENOVATION
My TR6 caught fire on the forecourt of a filling station at Royal Wootton Bassett in 2016. It is thought that this was as a result of a fuel leak. There was serious damage to the engine and front of the car particularly the bonnet.
After a long search I was recommended to JPM in Frome who collected the car from my home and set about rebuilding it in early 2017.
There is no doubt that my TR is a far better example as a result of JPM’s work.The rebuilt engine, already with triple Webber carburettors, has a tightness and produces more power than before. It is used regularly in the mid six months of the year, and with other classic car owners tours France each year with confidence. I am very grateful for the quality of the rebuild. While I do not wish to go through the experience again,I have no hesitation in recommending JPM Classics.
