JPM CLASSICS

PARTS
During the restoration of DB2 LML 233, the original front grille was beyond repair, so it had to be completely recreated from scratch. This involved developing specialised tooling to reproduce the correct slat profiles and traditional construction methods, including gas welding, brazing, spot welding, and soldering. All parts are made in-house with close attention to the original design and finish, with painting also available in our workshop.
Please get in touch to discuss individual requirements.

These are produced in small numbers and generally made to order.

Restoration of Original DB2 Grilles
Where possible, we strongly support repairing and restoring original DB2 grille assemblies rather than replacing them entirely.
Original grilles often carry stamped body numbers on the frame, which form part of the car’s history. Retaining these original components is therefore highly desirable whenever restoration can be achieved.
Using the tooling developed for these parts, damaged or missing sections can often be repaired by replacing individual slats or remaking corroded steel components while retaining the majority of the original frame. This approach allows owners to preserve as much original material as possible, while restoring the grille to its correct appearance and structural integrity.
Please get in touch to discuss the repair or restoration of original DB2 grille components.
