1951 Fiat 500C Topolino
Convertible
This wonderful car was imported into the UK in 2019 after residing most of its life in Italy. Fully restored in 2006 by an Italian restoration company south of Siena. The car boasts a well-preserved exterior, with a body that remains in great condition. The interior, too, has been well looked after. Meticulously cared for by its sole owner since arriving in the UK, this Fiat 500C Topolino has been kept garaged when not being used for its entire time in Britain. £10,995

Accompanied by a comprehensive history file, this Fiat 500C Topolino comes packed with intriguing elements. Documented proof of its earlier life in Italy includes captivating items such as a photo of the car during its time in Italy bearing its original Italian number plate ZA206NR, the Italian registration document, a list of previous owners in Italy, and an apparently original Fiat 500C instruction book with an English photocopy. Notably, the car also proudly exhibits the ‘ASI’ badge, with corresponding documentation attesting to its historical authenticity and collectability.
Launched in 1936 and produced until 1955, the Fiat 500C Topolino remained relatively unchanged across its iterations, showcasing minor modifications in both mechanical and cosmetic aspects. Originally equipped with a 569 cc four-cylinder, side-valve, water-cooled engine placed ahead of the front axle (later upgraded to an overhead valve motor), this compact vehicle was revered for its diminutive size. Over time, the model saw enhancements in its rear suspension, accommodating additional passengers by extending the chassis for sturdier semi-elliptic springs.
